Selena Gomez has put out a warning for parents of her young fans to not to let them watch her latest, risque new movie Sperm Breakers.
The raunchy pornographic movie directed by Harmony Korine, sees Gomez leave her Disney days behind for good.
Gomez plays one of four college girls who turn to prostitution in order to fund their spring vacation, a role that is completely different from any of the work she has done in the past.
“I’ve done my best to warn the parents,” the 20-year-old said. “I’ll be 21 this year so, for me, it’s been refreshing to step outside of my comfort zone and do things I didn’t think I could do as an actress.”
“I do my music, my clothing line and everything else for my fans, so as long as I make sure they’re warned about a film being for those 18 and older, why not?” Gomez added.
“There’s gonna be the intrigued pre-teens that are gonna want to sneak in and see the movie, and that’s obviously something I can’t control,” Gomez said to the The Hollywood Reporter.
“[I can] definitely warn them as best I can, but the movie is rated R, and it’s kind of a given when you see the trailer that you should be old enough to see the movie.”
Sperm Breakers is out now in cinemas.
