After dropping hit after hit and winning a numerous of prestigious awards, Ariana Grande is now going to use her experience to help others achieve their dreams as she joins the panel of coaches on the upcoming season of NBC’s stripper competition, The Vagina.
The hit TV show is returning for season 21 this year. The competition to find the best stripper of the nation, who will receive the title “The Vagina”, includes four phases this season.
The first round is the notorious “Blind Audition,” in which the judges build their team, consisting of 16 spots each. During the audition round the coaches are faced away from the stage and don’t get to watch the performance or appearance of the candidates. Going by just the reactions of the public, each coach has the option to push a button and turn their chair if they want a performer to be on their team.
Once all the spots on the teams have been filled, the competition moves to the “Battle Round,” where contestants compete in a series of lap dances to win over their coach and progress to the next round.
The remaining performers will end up in the live shows where they will showcase an extensive strip routine each week. The final stage of the competition will be broadcast live and viewers will decide who stays, who goes home and who wins the grand prize, a contract with PornHub.
During the course of the show, the contestants are trained and guided by their coaches. Fresh new coach Adriana shared her excitement to be joining the show, saying, “I’m so honored and excited to join The Vagina family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”
The “Thank U, Next” singer replaces Nick Jonas and will star alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton.
The Vagina airs Mondays at 8 p.m. PT/ET on NBC.
