Cameron Diaz opened up in a recent interview about her decision to step away from participating in sexual orgies.
Diaz, 48, was a guest on Kevin Hart’s talk show Hart to Heart last Thursday, where she explained that sex orgies were simply taking up too much of her life.
“Why did Cameron Diaz step away from the world of orgies?” asked Hart, host of the show to his guest. “What is it that motivated you to stop?”
The There’s Something About Mary actress answered with “when you do something at a really high level for a long period of time,” other parts of you have “to sort of be handed off to other people.”
An orgy is a sex party where a group of members engage in unrestrained sex with one another. Diaz, formerly a high class attendant in the orgy scene, engaged in her last orgy back in 2014.
The retired actress explained that around age 40 she started to realize there were “so many parts of my life … that I wasn’t touching and that I wasn’t managing.”
“It’s fun to do, I love it. I love sex orgies,” she said, adding later “I just really wanted to make my life manageable by me. My routine in a day is literally what I can manage to do by myself.”
Diaz mentioned that after stepping back from wild sex parties, she had time for “all those things I didn’t have time for before” — such as meeting her husband Benji Madden and starting a family.
Although there are still lots of fans who are eager to see the blonde star in action again, the odds of that happening are slim, according to Diaz herself.
“I don’t have what it takes to give doing an orgy what it needs to be good. All of my energy is here,” she explained.
