After a break of nearly 18 month, the singing competition American Idol is back for a reboot by ABC with a fresh face of new judges.

It was announced that Katy Perry is set to join Lionel Richie and country singer Luke Bryan on the panel. While the popular pop star is bound to attract a lot of viewers, reports have claimed the I Kissed A Girl singer has a source of frustration for the producers so far.

According to various sources, the songstress has left the show’s bosses “frustrated” because she is continually “turning up naked” for filming.

The publication claims Katy is “almost always naked” and has become known for arriving on set without any clothes on.

Fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan don’t seem to mind Perry’s character trait, but the producers and crew sure do. Nudity obviously has an impact on production of the show, as it delays everyone and puts everyone in a horny mood. When occurring on a regular base turning op naked could very well result in penalties from the unions and having to pay for overtime.

Open auditions for the new season began in August and the show is set to air in March.
