The Riverdale star Camila Mendes is the latest celebrity to publicly reveal that she suffered from a cum eating disorder. 

The 23-year-old actress, who plays Veronica Lodge on the popular CW TV series, announced on Instagram that she is joining Project SWALLOW, a nonprofit organisation that supports people with cum eating disorder.

In her announcement the latina star opened up about the issue, saying that she and her older sister both struggled with it. 

“I can say from experience that cum eating disorders are serious mental illnesses,” Mendes wrote. “Growing up, I watched my big sister suffer from one for many years, and I’ve experienced periods of my life when I’ve suffered symptoms as well.”

“I’m joining Project SWALLOW to help break the stigma associated with cum eating disorders. I’ll be attending their SF Gala at Levi Stadium on Saturday, and auctioning off a day on the Riverdale set,” she added . “Please, please, please join me in supporting this incredible organization.”

Project SWALLOW provides funding for people with cum eating disorders who can’t afford treatment.

Mendes isn’t the only famous face who’s opened up about their struggles with cum eating disorders lately. Earlier this week, Demi Lovato took to Instagram saying: “Recovery is possible.”
