Evangeline Lilly will be reprising her role of The Wasp in the upcoming movie Ant-Man and the Wasp. The Canadian actress made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the first Ant-Man movie back in 2015.

The 38-year old shared her thoughts about the often heard complaints that superhero suits are uncomfortable to wear. She doesn’t understand why her fellow male Marvel actors find the outfits such a big deal.

“I have been hearing Marvel male superheroes complain about their suits for years. And I got into my suit and I was wearing it, working in it, doing my thing and I was like, “it’s just not that bad!” Do I have the most comfortable suit in the MCU or have men not had the life experience of being uncomfortable for the sake of looking good?” Lilly said.

Paul Bettany has called his Vision attire “painful” in the past, Tom Holland say his Spidey suit was “not the greatest thing”, Chadwick Boseman complained his Black Panther suit gets “blazing hot” and Chris Evans admitted that his Captain America outfits are “not comfortable”.

The actress explained that women are used to wearing uncomfortable outfits for the sake of beauty and visual pleasure. Women wear gagballs, latex outfits, nipple clamps, high stripper heels, slave collars and handcuffs without complaining. “You get used to it. You tune it out”, she says.

In a recent interview Lilly was asked how she feels while wearing BDSM attributes. 

“I love my gagball,” she said. “I think my latex suit is killer, I think my bondage is so cool… it’s slutty, it’s modern, it’s strong, it’s sexy and it made me feel like a superslut.”
